Actually Abreu goes to silent auction.

Per the rules if there are any valid bids after 9PM on Wed evening the player goes to silent auction.

Detroit has the current high bid at $6.25 mill.

Teams in the bidding are HGH and Detroit. If HGH passes or does not make a valid bid then Detroit’s offer of $6.25 mill stands.

Abreu closed to Detroit for $7 mill.

Still want him for 3 years? If not, you’re free to change it since that post wasn’t technically valid at that point.

Good stuff, we haven’t had too many players go to silent auction the past couple years, used to be fairly common.

LOL. Honestly, I kinda like being involved in silent auctions. The suspense, the wondering, the mulling over what I think they other guy(s) are gonna bid... I dig it.
