April 12th

Game Highlights

~ After falling below .500 (GASP!!!), the ACL's have pulled their act together, winning five straight and ascending to a tie atop the Caray division.  Mookie Betts has been the main catalyst, and today was no different.  Betts collected three hits, slugged two home runs and drove in four.  He now leads the league with 5 HR and 15 RBI.

~ Another hot hitter to open the season is Moonstruck's Eric Thames.  Today he collects three hits and drives in a run in support of Caleb Smith and four relievers who shut out Scurvy on six hits.

~ The Koi erupt for five runs in the bottom of the 8th to break open a 2-2 ballgame in route to a 7-2 victory.  There are no single hero's in the inning, as the team bats around and strings together 4 hits and 3 walks to plate their runs. The Koi keep pace at the top of the Scully, a division that looks much different early on with the Bums and Koi at the top and the Dogs and the Miners floundering.  No . . . we have no sympathy...  ;-)

It’s still early. No reason to panic (yet)
