Game Highlights
~ Brooklyn's Yonny Chirinos comes within two outs of a complete game shutout, leading the Kraken to a 2-1 win over Windy City. Christian Yelich and Nick Castellanos provide the offense with solo homers and the Kraken move into a tie with Windy City atop the Harwell division.
~ Arizona carries an 8-5 lead into the 9th inning against Moonstruck . . . and then the wheels came off the wagon. The Blues erupt for 10 runs in the top of the ninth, sending 15 batters to the plate, including pinch runner Josh VanMeter who drew a walk after running for Garrett Cooper earlier in the inning. Aided by three walks and a costly error, Moonstruck collects eight hits, including two home runs against four Koi relievers.
