Game Highlights
~ The Honey Badgers are on a five game winning streak, dispatching the Knights 4-1. Dallas Keuchel gives up a solo home run but not much else, pitching eight effective innings. Corey Seager leads the offense with a two run double and Eloy Jimenez collects three hits to raise his average to .365. Pittsburgh has assumed the top spot in the Uecker with a strong 10-3 start to 2021.
~ Going one better than the Badgers, Detroit wins their sixth in a row with an 8-4 victory over a struggling Ann Arbor team. Zach Gallen is not particularly effective, giving up four runs on seven hits an four walks, but Mike Trout homers and drives in three runs and Ozzie Albies hits a three run blast ad drives in four. After a slow start which saw the Maniax lose five of their first seven, the team has drawn within one game of top spot in the Caray.
