~ Detroit's Zach Gallen pitches a complete game two-hit shutout to lead the Maniax to a 7-0 victory. Aaron Judge is hitting just .189, but he collects his 8th and 9th homers of the year and drives in three runs to raise his RBI total to 19, so he is still producing despite the low average.
Game Highlights - May 10th
~ Entering the bottom of the 8th, Hawaiian has managed all of three measly singles against Lakeview pitching and trails 3-0. a single, walk and two home runs later, the Garden Hammers have stolen victory from the jaws of defeat with a 4-3 win.
~ Brooklyn's Nick Ahmed takes the Hitting Performance of the Night with a 4-4, two run, three RBI showing versus Mother Lode. Ahmed bloops a double down the right field line in the 2nd, homers deep to left in the 4th, singles up the middle in the 6th and lines a double into the left-center gap to round out his perfect night at the plate and help Brooklyn to a 9-2 win.
~ Grants Pass stays hot behind a combined five hit shutout from Eduardo Rodriguez and the bullpen. CJ Cron singles and steals second ahead of Tommy Pham's RBI knock in the third inning leading to the sole run of the game.
