Game Highlights
Today starts a run of intra-divisional matchups between the Scully and Uecker in the Frick Conference, and the Caray and Harwell in the Landis Conference. Time for some divisional bragging rights to be earned!
Some BIG offensive showings today:
~ Scurvy scores 11 runs on 15 hits to get past New York, 11-4. Justin Turner and Yasiel Puig homer (Puig twice) and drive in four runs each to lead the offense.
~ Brooklyn plates 12 runs on 15 hits, led by Christian Yelich's two homer, three RBI game to run away from Lakeview. All Kraken hitters collect at least one hit in the team wide effort.
~ Phoenix has risen . . . punctuated by a 16-3 thumping of Mother Lode. The Miners collect 19 hits in their highest scoring game of the year, and get big games from Matt Chapman, Matt Carpenter, Kris Bryant and Sal Perez.
~ He Who Shall Not Be Named continues to decimate the leagues pitching, leading Ankeny over Ann Arbor, 14-1. HWSNBN homers twice (14 on the season) and drives in five runs (45 on the season) and is now on pace for 3,000 hits, 500 homers, and 2.000 RBI in this season alone...
