Game Highlights - May 21st

~ Roxbury's Josh Fleming and Daniel Norris pitch a five hit, 10 K shutout at the reeling Motor City Madmen. Avisail Garcia homers twice and drives in three runs in the Robots 4-0 victory.

~ Cody Bellinger has been the hottest hitter in the league over the past couple weeks. The Lakeview centerfielder cracks two home runs and drives in five to lead the Rougarou to a 10-9 win. After a slow start to the year, Bellinger is now hitting .300 with 18 home runs and 42 RBI.

~ The top half of the Moonstruck order is shackled completely and a four run ninth inning led by the bottom four in the order breaks open a tight contest, as the Blues, behind a strong seven innings from Ross Stripling, move past Rolla for a 7-1 win.

Game Highlights - May 22nd

~ Brooklyn races out to an 8-1 lead after two innings but Detroit claws their way back into the game with a five run third. Ultimately a three run seventh for the Kraken puts the games on ice, Brooklyn taking the 11-7 slugfest.

~ the Hitting Performance of the Night goes to Landlubber catcher, Danny Jansen. Hitting ninth and known more for his defense and handling of the pitching staff, Jansen goes 4-4 with a double, home run and four RBI. His big night is far from all the Landlubbers receive from their lineup though as Ann Arbor raps out 15 hits and takes a laugher, 15-5.

~ The Miners own ninth place hitting catcher, Jorge Alfaro, also propels his team to victory with a pair of two run home runs in the Miners 6-3 win.

~ Just a word of warning: I believe the world may be coming to an end . . . . The ACL's have dropped three straight.
