~ Mother Lode scores four runs off Bako's vaunted bullpen, bailing out Kyle Hendricks and snatching an extra inning 8-7 walk off win from the Bums.
~ Lakeview's Cody Bellinger is on some kind of hot streak. Over the past week, the Rougarou centerfielder has raised his average from .263 to .315 with 19 hits in 30 at bats. Over that seven game stretch, Bellinger has crushed TEN home runs, including four two homer games, and driven in 22 runs. Bellinger homered today, a grand slam in the 8th inning, extending his home run streak to six straight games, and propelling Lakeview to victory.
Game Highlights - May 24th
~ Jay Bruce singles in Paul Goldschmidt in the bottom of the 11th, leading Hawaiian to a 2-1 walk off victory over Windy City.
~ Roxbury's Mike Foltynewicz earns the Pitching Performance of the Night with a complete game two hit shutout of Chicago. Foltynewicz strikes out seven and does not allow a runner past first base. Jurickson Profar leads off the bottom of the first with a home run for all the run support needed and the Robots end up with a 5-0 victory.
