~ ACL's win their 11th straight. Big night for the offense which gets big production from the top and bottom of the order. Leadoff hitter, Francisco Lindor, and #9 hitter, Willson Contreras, both collect four RBI to power Ankeny's 11-5 win.
~ Justin Verlander picks up his league leading 11th win with a 13 strikeout 6.2 innings of shutout ball to lead Lakeview to a 1-0 victory.
~ Hitting Performance of the Night goes to Grants Pass' Derek Dietrich who goes a perfect 4-4 on the night with two homers, three runs, and six RBI to lead the Brewers to a 13-5 victory. Despite a pedestrian .220 average, Deitrich has produced very well for the Brew Crew(s) brother with 14 HR and 40 RBI on the season.
