4/7/17 ACL's @ Bulldogs

In early season action a pitcher's duel broke out between ACL's and Bulldogs, two active managers from the league discussion from the off-season. The night dominated by both starters going 7+ innings each scattering six hits, the difference being four free passes from Wright and one error although both runs allowed were earned. It has become apparent that errors lead to additional pitches and opportunity for the opposing team regardless of the situation.

All of the offense in this one comes in the bottom of the third. A walk, wild pick-off attempt which was an error on Wright allowed the runner to second base. Following a strikeout of Piscotty, Santana grounded out to second and Panik advance to third. Robbie Grossman gets an RBI driving in Panik from third. A wild pitch by Wright advances Grossman to second and the next batter Hosmer drove in the final run of the game. Francisco Rodriguez gets the save in a clean inning 3-batter inning for the Bulldogs.
