GIG-2022 Season Predictions!

Arrrrrrg Mateys!!!! It's time to make that decision to invest 5 minutes every two weeks into the Game Inside the Game (GIG) for a chance to win a mid-round draft pick!

The MSB schedule is structured so as to have 13 games in a row, and then a Sunday off. This happens all season long with the exception of an All-Star Break that moves things just slightly. Each GIG round will be based on what happens in those 13-game stretches. We'll have 12 rounds of questions during the regular season, plus these questions below, playoff questions, and WS questions for a total of 15 rounds.

In years past, we've had as many as 13 team GMs involved all season long. I'd love to get to the 20 mark someday. It's fun AND you get not only bragging rights, but the possibility of a 4th round pick (4.21 to the winner), or a 5th or 6th round pick for 2nd and 3rd place.

These questions (below) of course won't be tallied until the end of the season so I'll "stick" this thread to the top of the GIG folder. In order to predict with some level of confidence, I strongly suggest you run a half-season of games a few times in the database. It's not entirely accurate, of course, but it can help. I also suggest you check out each team's excel sheet and/or 40-man DMB database, perhaps total up their team WAR, look at their starting pitching, lineups, bullpens, etc. By far the 'Season Predictions' GIG questions take the most time to prepare for. But they're well worth the time.

1) Which Team will win the Ford Frick League? (3 points)

2) Which team will win the KML League? (3 points)

3) Name the other 3 teams who will make the playoffs in the Frick. (1 point for each team, and a bonus point if you nail the order.)

4) Name the other 3 teams who will make the playoffs in the KML. (1 point for each team, and a bonus point if you nail the order.)

5) Name the two World Series Contenders. (3 points each)

6) Name the 2022 Mutiny Simulation Baseball Champion. (5 points)
