4/8/17 Landlubbers @ KOI

So, I know that this was the HOTN with Rod's update, well this is the game in my rotation as luck might have it. Part of this is having the time and ability to go a littler deeper. My knowledge, it is still suspect at best.

Matching complete games, deGrom and Davies locked-up for the night and matched zero's through 3 1/2 innings. At that point the Koi broke through as it was true DH, Victor Martinez with a 3-run go ahead and game winning blast. The first two batters go down before a two-out double from Josh Reddick. C.J. Cron was then plunked to fill up first base on the first pitch and then the homerun. This was enough for Davies as he throws a complete game shutout, the first of MSB for this season in an efficient 108 pitches.

It's all good that you recapped the same game as my HotN. My recap is generally short and to the point, and in this particular case was just about Davies anyway. Thanks for providing more commentary :)
