Series Highlights
~ Ankeny bounces back from on opening game loss to take their series against Pittsburgh, scoring 21 runs in their two wins.
~ Windy City drops game one before riding their MVP candidate to wins in games two and three. Vladimir Guerrero goes 6-11 in the series and homers twice in game three. He is currently sitting atop all three Triple Crown categories with a .383 average, 28 HR, and 64 RBI.
~ Scurvy saunters into Chicago and rides Gerrit Cole, Frankie Montas, and Lance McCullers to a sweep of the Rum Runners.
~ Phoenix remains the hottest team in the league, sweeping Ann Arbor, running their current win streak to five games.
~ Great Auk arrives for a three game set with Hawaiian, and rolls out of town after a series sweep. Byron Buxton has a series for the ages, going 7-13, scoring six runs, homering SIX TIMES, and driving in 10 of the Auk's 17 runs.
~ Arizona takes two out of three from Brooklyn, highlighted by a 10-1 drubbing in the rubber match.
~ Pitching takes the forefront in the Rolla/Motor City matchup. The teams score a combined 11 runs in the three games that sees the visiting Sweets win two out of three.
~ The Winds are not gracious hosts to Mother Lode, sweeping the three game set with the Argos. A 6-5 extra inning battle in game one highlights the series. Nick Ahmed hits the first pitch of the bottom of the 11th inning for a walk off homer to start Santa Ana on their sweep.
~ Bako drops game one in Lakeview before striking back with wins in the next two to win the series with the Rougarou.
~ Roxbury welcomes Grants Pass to town and sends them back out after sweeping the three game set.
