Series Highlights
~ The ACL's drop game one but record back to back wins in the final two games to win their series with the Blues.
~ Rum Runners take two of three from Mother Lode. Chicago wins game three, 5-3, with a five run second inning.
~ And Roxbury wins the award for my favorite team of this cycle. The Robots cool down . . . no, SHUT down the red hot Miners with a three game sweep. After shutouts in the first two games, Roxbury completes the sweep with a convincing 10-3 victory in game three.
~ Hawaiian wins their series with Grants Pass, 2-1. The Garden Hammers wallop the Brewers in the opening game, 14-7, behind Jeimer Candelario's 4-4 day.
~ Bako prolongs Brooklyn's slump, sweeping the Kraken and extending their losing streak to 14 games.
~ Lakeview sweeps Rolla, winning game three behind a stellar seven innings from Domingo German and two perfect innings from Garrett Whitlock, who needed just 12 pitches to close out the 5-0 shutout.
~ Scurvy disappoints the hometown fans in Ann Arbor, taking two of three from the Landlubbers.
~ Windy City completes a convincing sweep of Arizona winning game one, 11-5; game two, 8-1; and game three, 7-2.
~ The Winds complete a home sweep of Great with outstanding pitching performances from Lucas Giolito, Joe Musgrove, and Joe Ross.
~ Motor City wins two out of three at home over Pittsburgh. Game three is an offensive battle, won by the Madmen 16-11 as the two teams combine for 12 extra base hits.
