June 24th
Couple of pitching performances to highlight:
~ Chicago's Trevor Rogers throws a complete game, two hit shutout to lead the Runners to a 2-0 victory over Rolla. Rogers does not walk a batter and strikes out nine.

~ Santa Ana's Max Scherzer also completes his own shutout, striking out 11 and allowing just a fourth inning single as he runs his perfect record to 10-0 and lower his microscopic ERA to 1.78. The Winds get just enough against Robbie Ray to secure a 2-0 win over Pittsburgh.

June 25th

~ Half the teams in the league won; half the teams in the league lost. Yeah . . . pretty "Meh" day...

June 26th

~ Brooklyn breaks their long losing streak behind Victor Gutierrez' strong 7+ innings of work. Andrew Benintendi homers and drives in four runs to pace the offense to a 7-0 victory over fellow standings-challenged Grants Pass.

~ The Dogs may have finally woken. Yay . . . . . Scurvy, winners of five straight, are 9-1 in their last ten and have risen a season high six games over .500 after their 5-3 victory over Motor City.

~ Windy City hitters all decide to imitate their frontrunning MVP first baseman, Vlad Guerrero as they swamp the Auk in Great. Guerrero homers (36th) and drives in four (81 RBI), but he's just the tip of this iceberg. The Rattlers offense goes off for 19 hits and 17 runs in a 17-2 victory that was all but over after an 11 run third inning by the visiting Rattlers.
