Don't look now, but the team with the worst record in the league last year is on top of a highly competitive Will Turner division. The Bombers improve to 3-2 with an 8-7 victory over the Nomads in 10 innings. They scored in the 8th and 9th to send the game into extra frames, and before winning in an unconventional way. The Bombers got consecutive 2-out walks to load the bases, but Martinez should have grounded out to send the game into the 11th. But an error by the 2b Kipnis allowed the winning run to score.

In the win column, that away guys to get that first one. Just like the first out of an inning, it's the hardest.
