The ($19) million dollar man, Kershaw, picked up his first victory of the season in the Dogs 8-1 victory over the Koi. It's early, but so far the preseason Cy Young votes appear to be warranted as he has a 0.64 ERA, allowing only 8 hits and 0 walks with 15 strikeouts in his 14 innings pitched.

Honorable Mention:
The team with the best overall record is not the Dogs, ACL's, Nomads, Cutthroats, or any of the other teams who got love in the preseason voting. But after the Sweets swept the 3 game set at the Cutthroats they now have a 5-1 record and sit atop the standings. Are they for real? Only time will tell...
