Back into the groove, tonight

I've been away and busy the past few days. An annual Alumni Fraternity Float Trip that coincides with Easter Weekend since 1967, that is right folks. 50 years of tradition at the same campground on the same river at the same time of year.

This year the weather was beautiful both days that I floated and mid-40's camping was perfect. We did have some light rain showers, but it was in the 70's for temperature on Friday afternoon. I hope to back to my game recaps tonight potentially. The Cubs play the Brewers, so that leads to an opportunity right there during a lengthy MLB game.

What river did you float?

North Fork River, flows into White River into Arkansas. We use Pettit Canoe Rental in Dora, MO.

Leisurely type of float? I'd like to bring my kids onto a river somewhere, though they're so young, it has to be gentle.
