Bums and Argos renew acquaintances

Bako has sent All-World closer Josh Hader (Arb2/$3.5M), newly promoted Mitch White ($500K/Rookie), and minor league shortstop Carlos Colmenarez to Mother Lode in return for centerfielder Brandon Nimmo ($7.5M/2023).

After initial contact about 10 days ago, some time to explore options and mull possibilities, Matt and I hammered out a deal in about an hour late last night.  Hader was the price to pay to solidify a thin outfield in Bako, but truthfully, Colmenarez was the hard piece to let go of.  High hopes for the 19 year old with a smooth swing, developing power and shortstop ability.

Good working with you as always Matt.

Argonauts confirm.

It's certainly sad to see fan favorite, Brandon Nimmo, head out of town in this trade, but the Argonauts Front Office are thrilled bring back Hader to close out games again, add starting depth on the cheap in White, and pick up the  young talented shortstop prospect, Colmenarez, who will hopefully develop into a starter down the road.

Best of luck with Nimmo and as always, good working with you too, Brendt!
