Tomorrow the Kraken and Dogs finally face off in a matchup with the two teams currently holding the best records in the league. Something tells me they might be featured coming up the rest of the week. In the meantime they both were up to their "tricks". The Dogs got back-to-back complete game shutouts from Kershaw and Fernandez in their 1-0 and 8-0 victories over the Bulldogs. Combined stats = 18 innings, 0 runs, 8 hits, 2 walks, 25 strikeouts. The Kraken won 7-6 in their first game against the Landlubbers with a 5-run 9th inning powered by a walkoff bases-loaded double by Castellanos. They took advantage of a 4-run 3rd inning in the second game winning 5-3. Clearly they have the ability to score in bunches. We'll see what happens when the Kraken offense takes on the Dogs pitching the next 3 games. Should be interesting
