Throwing out a Lauer and seeing if we get any bites.
The Brewers are going on a little fishing trip to see what kind of trade interest might be out there for Eric Lauer (ARB2, $2.5M). Lauer has 158 IP and good numbers and, as an ARB2 player, comes with another year of team control at what should be a fairly team friendly price for a solid starting pitcher.
Future assets are always of interest. For the current season we could use some more help in the bullpen and potentially some upgrades in the outfield.
