ACLs over Rattlers 3-2;
Jordan Lyles carries a no-hitter into the 8th inning only to give up a pair of solo homers; Shane Bieber matches Lyles shutout seven innings, but staked to the 2-0 lead gives up a tying 2-run home run in the bottom of the inning. Gavin Lux walks it off for Ankeny with an RBI double.
Koi over Thunder 9-4;
Arizona prolongs Zach Wheeler's poor start to the season, chasing him in the fourth after giving up seven runs. After giving up three runs (1 earned) in the first, Chris Bassitt settles in to complete seven strong innings for the win.
Landlubber over Tubemen 6-4;
Four to four after one inning, this starts out looking like a slugfest. Both pitching staffs settle down though and RBI doubles in the fourth and fifth for Ann Arbor are the difference.
Miner over Brewers 4-0;
Cedric Mullins singles to lead off the game and Jack Suwinski follows with his 3rd homer to stake Phoenix to a 2-0 lead. Max Scherzer completes a two hit shutout for the Miners.
Robots over Garden Hammers 9-2;
Roxbury pounds out 18 hits, including three homers, to route Hawaiian.
Rougarou over Kraken 6-1;
Lakeview takes over sole possession of first in the KML. Yordan Alvarez goes 3-4 including his league leading 10th home run.
Bums over Sweets 2-1;
Pete Alonso wins it for Bako with a 10th inning walk off single.
Argos over Auk 9-8;
The offenses combine for 9 doubles, 2 triples, and 2 home runs and Argo pitchers walk NINE batters, but Mother Lode outlasts Great.
Dogs over Anglerfish 4-3;
Luis Robert goes 4-4 with a pair of doubles and Shohei Ohtani provides the winning run with his 6th homer of the season in the seventh inning.
Madmen over Sea Wolves 5-4;
Madmen take a 5-1 lead into the 8th inning and hold off a late Santa Ana rally for the one run victory.
