Game Highlights

After an off day on the 15th, a return to action see's the KML tighten up even more.  Check out the top . . . and middle! . . . of the conference standings...

Sea Wolves over Rattlers 3-1;
Jose Abreu and Tyler Ward homer in the 3rd to put Santa Ana in front and the pitching does the rest as the Wolves win their NINTH STRIAGHT GAME.

Rougarou over Tubemen 5-2;
Johnny Cueto carries a shutout into the ninth and Carlos Correa homers and drives in four for Lakeview, who precariously sit on top of the conference by one game over four teams.

ACL's over Hammers 8-3;
Ankeny pulls closer thanks to their middle infield (Lindor/Torres) who combine to go 6-7 with four runs and six RBI from the bottom two spot in the lineup.

Landlubbers over Madmen 6-1;
Ann Arbor inches closer as well behind Patrick Sandoval's seven inning, 10 K effort.

Robots over Kraken 10-0;
Sonny Gray pitches into the eighth, striking out 11, and the Robots work 9 walks to go with their 15 hits in the route of Brooklyn.

Thunder over Argos 6-1;
Alek Manoah outduel's Jacob deGrom and Tucson ends Mother Lode's win streak.

Sweets over Miners 7-5;
Teoscar Hernandez homers twice and Travis d'Arnaud hits a go ahead bomb of his own in the seventh.

Bums over Dogs 3-2;
Adolis Garcia homers twice and Alex Verdugo continues his strong season with the go ahead single in the seventh.

Auk over Anglerfish 7-6;
Taking a 7-2 lead in the eighth, Great weathers a couple late San Diego rallies to outlast the Anglerfish.

Brewers over Koi 9-8;
The most exciting game of the night; Arizona jumps out early, Grants Pass comes back late, including tying the game up in the bottom of the ninth to send the game into extras.  In the top of the 11th, Bo Bichette doubles in a run and Luke Voit plates Bichette to put Arizona up by two.  In the bottom of the inning, a walk and three singles plates two for the Brewers to tie the game again.  George Springer lines a single that plates Austin Hedges with the tying run but Lane Thomas is thrown out at home on the play to end the inning.  After a 1-2-3 top of the twelfth, Jose Altuve dinks a single in to shallow center to drive in Springer with the winning run.
