Old Acquaintances Renewed

Keeping pace with Walla Walla and Mother Lode in the ever tightening Frick, Bako shores up their rotation with the acquisition of Jeffrey Springs ('23 / $125K pro-rated) from old friend and rival Jason Palmateer’s Ankeny ACL’s.  In return, the Bums send one of their many teen phenoms, SS Yoeilin Cespedes to Ankeny. Rounding out the trade, Bako sends their 2024 2nd round MiL pick in exchange for Ankeny’s 2024 5th round pick.

It’s been a while Jason. Good to renew the acquaintance once again.

FYI - there is no pro-rating below $250k.  But trade can go through as you have enough cap space.

ACLs will need to drop one MiL player.

trade processed in the database.

@profjason - I activated TWilliams and put him in Springs spot in the rotation. Hope that's ok?

The ACLs confirm. Moving Williams into the rotation is a good move, as that was what I was thinking about doing. The ACLs have also made the required cut from their minor league system to get us back to 28.
