The Asterisks beat the Landlubbers 1-0 in 14 innings. Both SP were on top of their game - deGrom went 8 innings allowing 4 hits and 2 walks while Lackey had only allowed a 5th inning single through 7 before each team turned it over to the bullpen. Finally in the bottom of the 14th three consecutive singles off Ramos scored the first, and only, run. Blanton picks up the win, improving to 6-1 with a 1.92 ERA

Honorable Mention:
The Cache Hogs almost let one slip away against the Madmen. The CH took a 6-4 lead into the bottom of the 9th, but Oh allowed two singles and a walk to load the bases and a sac fly pulled the Madmen within 1. But Oh got Gattis to strike out (Golden Sombrero for Gattis by the way going 0-4 with 4 k's) to end the game and pick up his 21st save.
