Re: More Brewers Waivers Reply #4 – March 12, 2024, 07:04:50 PM I didn't think waivers could be revoked. I just read the rulebook and didn't see anything about revoking waivers. Quote Selected
Re: More Brewers Waivers Reply #5 – March 12, 2024, 08:54:25 PM You can't revoke a waiver. A player either gets claimed or he doesn't in which case they get relegated. Otherwise there would be no risk to the waiver process. Quote Selected 1 Likes
Re: More Brewers Waivers Reply #6 – March 12, 2024, 11:08:04 PM Well crap...guess I should have double checked. Is that how it's always been? I swear that we have been able to do that in the past. Maybe I'm getting it confused, or maybe I just made it up in my head, but I would not have placed Burleson on waivers knowing that. Oh well, lesson learned. Unfortunately, if his spring training is any indication I may being feeling the hurt of this mistake pretty soon! Quote Selected

Waivers are an opportunity to offer a player up for others to take but it's not a free option. If a player clears waivers, then you do have optionality: (i) rescind the waiver and keep them on your major team; (ii) demote them to minors; or (iii) waive them outright. Quote Selected
