What a difference between the top of the Barbosa vs the Turner. The Cutthroats win 1-0 over the Bombers (CG 2 hitter for Arrieta) and the Cache Hogs win 6-0 over the Rattlers (CG 2 hitter for Scherzer). Both the Cuttys and Cache Hogs have won 9 of their last 10.

After getting shutout by the Cache Hogs, the Rattlers then lost a heartbreaker to the Sweets. They took a 5-2 lead into the bottom of the 8th and 5-3 lead into the bottom of the 9th. But the 6 batters closer Wade Davis faced went single, walk, single, double, intentional walk to load the bases, single for the 6-5 game winner. With the two defeats the Rattlers have lost 8 in a row to fall under .500 on the season. But they still are in 1st place as the Nomads continue to lose as well (7-0 to the Madmen. And yes, sorry Matt, I'm talking about your team again).

Honorable Mention
Kershaw makes his 1st start in a month an a half, but didn't factor into the decision as the game went 16 innings before the Dogs finally beat the Bulldogs 4-3. Gregorius, Hamilton, and Murphy all with singles in the 16th for the game winner.
