Cutthroats beat the Rattlers 12-1 in a matchup of the two divisional leaders in the Captain Jack. This was close, 3-1 after 6 and still only 5-1 heading into the 8th before the Cuttys blew it open against the Rattlers bullpen. In the 8th Lucroy hit a 3-run HR and Eaton hit a grand slam to make the final score not indicative of how close the game was.

Interesting note: all the teams in the Turner are on at least a 1 game losing streak.

Honorable Mention:
Kraken lower their magic number to 8 (first team in single digits) with a 6-0 victory over the Dogs. Happ and a couple RP combine on the 5 hit shutout. Only a matter of time before they are popping champagne in Brooklyn as they have a 23 game lead in the standings.
