Congrats to the Kraken and Cutthroats on advancing to the conference finals.
Congrats as well to the Asterisks and Sweets on fine seasons

Highlight of the Night:
The Cutthroats beat the Sweets 3-1 (in 10 innings) to win the series 4-1. The Cuttys computer manager almost lost this for the team as they tried to get a complete game from David Price instead of turning it over to their bullpen with a 1-0 lead heading into the bottom of the 9th. Rupp lined a single to shallow left to start the 9th and the Sweets had the winning run at the plate. Price was then pulled for Andrew Miller, but instead of going for the win the Sweets played small ball and sac bunted the runner into scoring position (which he eventually did) to send the game into extra innings. But the Cuttys plated 2 in the top of the 10th and that was all she wrote.

Honorable Mention:
The Dogs got a triple from Daniel Murphy in the bottom of the 8th, and Murphy later scored on a wild pitch for the game winner as the Dogs beat the Landlubbers 2-1. Landlubbers now go back home to Ann Arbor needing to win games 6 and 7 in front of the home crowd as they trail 2 games to 3. Kershaw goes 8 innings, allowing 4 hits, 2 walks, while striking out 13.

Honorable Mention 2:
The Kraken eliminate the Asterisks 4-1, both in G5 and the series.
The Cache Hogs also won 4-1 over the Rattlers and take a 3-2 lead in the series as it heads back to the Windy City.
