Since there was only one game remaining in the first round of the playoffs Craig and I both agreed to a couple quick tweaks to our MP and I just simmed G7.

I expected a SP dual between Jose Fernandez and Jacob deGrom - and that didn't materialize. Neither SP was very effective.
Fernandez = 6 innings, 8 hits, 3 walks, 9 K's
deGrom = 6 innings, 9 hits, 0 walks, 6 K's

With the score 4-4 heading into the 7th the Dogs were able to scratch a couple more runs together, the game winner came from a Billy Hamilton single to LF off Mark Melancon (who had just entered in relief of deGrom). Diekman, Harris, and Britton pitched a scoreless 7th, 8th, and 9th to close out the 8-4 win.

Congrats to the Landlubbers on a fantastic season, this was an upset in my opinion.
