I was so close to going $3M here, but timing issues are in play. I think Markakis found something in the off-season before 2018, ala Chris Taylor, and the production will continue for at least 2 more seasons. This could be a very good bargain through 2021.

I think this was a good buy too. I wanted to stay in on Markakis but other priorities were calling. It hurt a little more that he stayed in my division.
