The following guys are waived, to be outright released to NRO if/when they clear waivers:
Nomar Mazara ($250K, 2025)
Franchy Cordero ($700K, 2025)
Chris Archer ($750K, 2025)
Duane Underwood ($250K, 2025)
The following guys are waived. They are all Rookies or Prospects, so I assume I will be clear of any further salary obligations to them - whether they are claimed or not:
Will Bednar (prospect)
Seth Beer ($500K, Rookie)
Kyle Lewis ($500K, Rookie)
Taylor Hearn ($500K, Rookie)
All waived pending claims.
That being said, rookies who are waived are no different than anyone else. You'll have to carry their salary until the end of their contract. Given the small size and length of their remaining contracts, you might consider demoting 2 of these guys and potentially using them in a trade instead.
