Sheesh. My Thunder is playing .667 ball in August and losing ground in the Frick. You guys have put together some amazing teams with great depth.

A few thoughts on the Frick:

Top five Frick teams just went 14 for 15 against the lower five Frick teams in these last three games.

To some degree, yes poor Thunder.   However any of the current top four teams can belly up and drop where the Thunder can get in.  My Auk isn't counting their chickens yet before they hatch.

In fact the Auk now has 9 games with the other current playoff sitters: Dogs, Bums and Brewers before the schedule is reversed for the last 3 games vs each division opponent.  Anything can happen.

When does Ohtani's arm get used up ?

Lots of truth in there, Bob. In my 17 seasons of experience in DMB and specifically MSB, I took a long hard look at how DMb is treating my guys and decided my chances of even getting to the playoffs were slim enough it was time to get some return and reload.  That, and a quick study into the depth of the top 4 and how DMB is treating their star players made the decision even more clear. I just don't see any of you 4 slowing down.

I've never rebuilt before, and I think - based on the RL performance of my current guys - 2025 will be the first in franchise history. So one more reason to go ahead and start the rebuild now.

Soon. But this is not something we enjoy talking about. So let’s not mention it again. Ok? All in favor?

Oh man. This is going to be an enjoyable couple of years :)

@Brendtmc - don’t worry. I’m coming for you too. But please let me enjoy my moment here first!

don’t get excited, Rod. Even my rebuilding teams can still take yours. 😉

Honestly? Assuming your “rebuild year” actually happens I would expect you to quickly recover.

Brewers sweep Miners (check out this line from Logan Gilbert in game one: Complete game, one hit shutout ... 15 K's).

This season sucks.

May I quote you on that in future press releases… 😅

So would I.

16 previous seasons:
15 winning season
14 playoff appearances
1,493 wins
.577 W%
3 WS titles

I'd say that's the best record in league history.

Thanks guys. A part of me is looking forward to the art of rebuilding.  But yeah, I’m hoping to do it quickly.

One of the WS titles is rightfully mine. Kyle knows what I’m talking about.
