Offense was hard to come by given how dominating the pitching was in this game. Both Blake Snell and Nick Sandlin combined for a nice little stat line that most teams would envy in the playoffs against an offense like the Sea Wolves: 8 IP, 7 K, 3 hits, 5 walks, and 2 ER. But Zac Gallen took it to another level for the complete game shutout: 9 IP, 5 K, 4 hits, and 2 walks. No runs. And, aside from a walk in the top of the 4th to move McCormick to second, the Rum Runners never really challenged.
I am personally looking forward to watching the Landis' #1 ranked offense/#2 ranked pitching square off against Frick's #2 ranked pitching/#1 ranked offense. First game to start in Bako after a one-day break.
