The Cache Hogs beat the Nomads 9-3 in another possible playoff matchup, but the Nomads have some work to do. Since taking over 1st place in the Turner the Nomads have lost 8 in a row and have fallen 3.5 games behind the Sweets for the final wild card spot. The Cache Hogs are a team I feel I consistently leave out of the HotN for some strange reason, but don't sleep on them. They are 71-52 and have the second best record (behind the Cutthroats) in the CJSL. Lorenzo Cain doubled, stole 3rd, and scored on a groundout to put the Cache Hogs ahead 1-0 in the first and they never looked back. Cain finished 3-5 with 3 runs scored.
