I really just need to know, is the "d" silent?

Yes, the ‘d’ is silent. Just spelled differently courtesy of my father. Not that I mind it. I’ve always liked having the bit of individuality.

After being ousted last season at the hands of the Cubbies it’s nice to go through them this year on the way to the World Series! I think that makes us even now.

Yeah it has been, Matt. Glad to be back and glad to see you still kickin’ around. I still plan on handing you the short end of the stick though, just like it always was!

Wow, middle school for 23 years.  I taught 6th grade for a few years before life threw me a curve ball.  Loved every minute of teaching, but don't miss dealing with parents and faculty. :).

Brendt, it's great to have you back.  I hope you'll continue to root for the Cutthroats... up 3-1 on the Sweets despite Charlie Blackmon the Jake Arrieta slayer!!!
