Covid

Hey guys. I’ve been sick all week and finally decided to go to the ER this morning. Turns out I have Covid pneumonia. If you are a man who prays, I appreciate it. Unfortunately, I’m not one of those who got Covid but experiences no symptoms. Kinda sucks.

Thanks guys. I'm way better today. Getting all the right meds. Hope to be going home tomorrow.

I'm gonna be in this hospital until Sunday, it appears. They're doing a daily IV treatment that's proven effective called Remdesivir. Gotta run its course, I guess. My oxygen levels remain too low. They want to see it steadily at and above 93 before sending me home, and its around 88-90 all the time. Thanks for checking in, Dan.

Hey Craig!

I'm home and doing really well. What a life-altering experience, though. I can't even begin to tell you guys all the things spinning around in my head. I'm actually going write about it. I have a little blog. I'll link it whenever I get it done.

But all in all, I'm fatigued and moving a little slowly, but all other issues are past. I get to return to work Monday.

Thank God; my heart dropped when I read this because in another league (with Brian) our commissioner gave an eerily similar post (Through the worst, low oxygen, optimistic about leaving hospital once it goes up) and then he died 2 days later. So happy to hear you are back. Rest up, don't over work those lungs.

No way! Im so sorry. COVID sucks.

Seriously, the oxygen levels for me dropped to almost below 80. My body convulsed several times just trying to catch air. This is nothing to be trifled with. I’m very much praising my Lord that I was spared, but so many were not. It’s heartbreaking.

I'll put this update in here, rather than continue with email...

The Doc went into mom's room last night a 11 PM and said, "Actually, you don't have COVID."

Weird, but we're cool with that! We still don't have an official diagnosis, but I'm guessing pneumonia.
