Post-Draft Personal Analysis Questions - just for fun

I've always wanted to do something this post-draft... Answer some or all of the questions, and add anything else you wish at the end. And interpret the questions however you wish.

1) Which of you picks are you most excited to see develop?
2) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest "steal"?
3) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest risk and/or "reach"?
4) Which pick(s) do you consider your "sleeper pick"?
4) Of all your picks, which one is the most likely to be waived first?
5) Besides the first round, roughly (just guess) how many times did another GM choose a player you wanted RIGHT BEFORE you (one or two picks ahead)?
6) Now that the draft is over, is there any pick you look at and think, "why didn't I wait a few more rounds on that guy?"
7) Is there any player you didn't get that you'd gladly trade now to the team that got him for one of your higher picks?
8 ) Totally optional: Don’t give away your favorite sites, but do you pay for private prospects sites to aid in your pre-draft studies? Just a yes or no question, really. Elaborate at your own risk.
9) Anything else you'd like to add?

1) Which of you picks are you most excited to see develop? Have to hope that 1st rounder pans out. Cade Cavalli.
2) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest "steal"?  Drew Romo C - RD 5.  Drafted 35th overall by Rockies, excellent defense and hitting in the minors so far.
3) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest risk and/or "reach"? 3B/2B Curtis Mead RD 7. Not much info on him, undrafted prospect from Australia.  Probably a future 1B.
4) Which pick(s) do you consider your "sleeper pick"?  Joey Wiemer OF RD 9.  Ranked as Brewers 27th prospect, has a .925 OPS
4) Of all your picks, which one is the most likely to be waived first? Hopefully whoever I draft in RD 14.
5) Besides the first round, roughly (just guess) how many times did another GM choose a player you wanted RIGHT BEFORE you (one or two picks ahead)? None, but  Madmen took "my guy" twice ...9 picks before me  4th RD- Jordan Westburg, 6th RD-Landon Knack
7) Is there any player you didn't get that you'd gladly trade now to the team that got him for one of your higher picks?  Really wanted Aaron Ashby, but he went in RD 2, much higher than I thought he would. Also Joe Gray Jr. -  I thought he was taken previously - no idea why.

1. “most excited to see develop?”  Leiter, I guess. Sure could use an Ace!
2. “ biggest "steal"?”   Was happy to get Austin Wells at 3.2
3. “biggest risk and/or "reach"? None. They are all sure-fire All Stars!
4.   "sleeper pick"?  Beeter, at 5.2
4.b  See 3 above!
5. “RIGHT BEFORE you”  Did not happen to me EXCEPT @ 1.2 – Wanted Tork, but the Knights grabbed him. Leiter was Plan B.
6. No
7. “Is there any player you didn't get…” No, I’m OK with this.
8.  I subscribe to “The Athletic”. Also, I used to always get John Sickels Prospect Book, but sadly, no longer.
9. As usual, fun and interesting!

Before I answer, a little context. I did not have a 1st or 2nd rounder. Also, as you likely already are familiar I have lots of words so apologies for the novel. Last, I added a question at the end that I thought was fun. Curious to see how other answer it if you feel like it.

1) Which of your picks are you most excited to see develop? As a Dodger fan I want to see Jose Ramos develop but as the GM of the Argonauts I am excited to see Harris who I have read has the highest upside of all Braves prospects which says a lot. Hopefully he gets there. Runner up is Bubba Chandler if he can develop as both a hitter and pitcher.
2) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest "steal"? Landing McLain late in the third was a steal in my opinion. I was sweating him going just before me and I had a pretty big drop off in my rankings if he was gone. Better to be lucky than good sometimes.
3) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest risk and/or "reach"? My biggest risk was Painter in the 4th. Love the stuff but HS pitching has tons of risk and the 4th still had some high upside sure things available. I think my biggest reach was Ramos. It was likely at least a few rounds too early (maybe even a year too early) but with so many Dodger fans around I jumped the gun and pulled the trigger.
4) Which pick(s) do you conside,r your "sleeper pick"? Ramos and Eddy de la Cruz fall into this category, but the stand out for me is OF Gabriel Gonzalez of the Mariners. The Mariners pedigree for developing Internationals is fantastic and I took at shot on Julio Rodriguez a few years back which paid off so here's  hoping for a Seattle two-fer. I had traded my picks up to the 12th round where I had planned to take him but Baseball America put out some content that mentioned him favorably during those rounds, so I felt the need to trade back into the draft and picked up a 10th rounder to make sure I didn't miss him.
4) Of all your picks, which one is the most likely to be waived first? My young guys with the highest risk probably should be the answer, but I know myself and I generally have a long leash with guys like that.  so I'll give you the weird answer of Crochet. He's already in the bigs and a good reliever, but I think the White Sox will try to make him a starter. He may very well be best suited for a reliever role and that could make for a rocky few years of production as they find out, which could put him on chopping block and get him axed early. I already hate this answer.
5) Besides the first round, roughly (just guess) how many times did another GM choose a player you wanted RIGHT BEFORE you (one or two picks ahead)? There were a handful of players that went 5-10 picks ahead of me that I was targeting. The most glaring situation was leading up the my pick in the 6th round. I didn't have a pick in Round 5 and the end of that round saw two guys, Spencer Strider and Dax Fulton who I rated very highly, go late in that round. If I had a 5th one of those guys would be on my roster. Grrr!
6) Now that the draft is over, is there any pick you look at and think, "why didn't I wait a few more rounds on that guy?" That's Ramos for sure. I checked in with my Dodger buddies and they weren't on him at that point so fear got the best of me.
7) Is there any player you didn't get that you'd gladly trade now to the team that got him for one of your higher picks? I'll leave out names, but a couple 20/21 international guys really intrigued me and I regret not grabbing them when I had a chance.
8 ) Totally optional: Don’t give away your favorite sites, but do you pay for private prospects sites to aid in your pre-draft studies? Just a yes or no question, really. Elaborate at your own risk. I use a lot of different sources. The nice thing is there are some really helpful free sources.  I also pay for BA (obviously after my Ramos answer) and I also have an Athletic subscription which I highly recommend though more so for their overall coverage than their prospect coverage.
9) Anything else you'd like to add? I'd like add another question. "Besides your own, which teams draft did you like the most?" For me the easy answer is the Landlubbers. With last years draft postponed, it must have been difficult for Craig to be forced to wait so long to kick off the Landlubbers rebuild, but when it finally was time he knocked it out of the park. It was so enjoyable to watch him snag stud after stud that it helped to make the fact that my 1st and 2nd rounders were part of his draft pick armada fairly painless. Can't wait to see the Landlubbers Minor league team catapult up the rankings. Nice job Craig!

Yeah, my last pick was between Gray and Pfaadt. I think one or both might be good draft sleepers.

Opening note: You thought Matt was long-winded? Wait till you get a load of me! :)

1) Which of you picks are you most excited to see develop?
Proabably Andre Jackson (8.2). He's a Tucson kid and a Dodger. No brainer, really.

2) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest "steal"?
Clarke Schmidt a 4.15 and I was very surprised to see a pitcher with the kind of eye-popping AA numbers 9age 23) as Matt Brash at the 8.16 mark.

3) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest risk and/or "reach"?
Blaine Crim (5.18) and Max Shrock, for sure (8.18). Some unranked, unhyped MLB players with good initial numbers were starting to get taken in round 6 and 7, and I'm a sucker for unhyped guys making the show and doing well.  Crim hasn't made the show but at 24 is a little old for AA ball while he rakes there.  And Shrock been great as a pinch hitter all year but he's 26 and just a grinder. I think Crim might have survived till round 6 or 7, and Shrock maybe till after the 10th, but I just wasn't sure and didn't have anyone on my list at that point I felt I really needed to have more than those guys.  Another candidate: Andre Jackson. Just because of that local boy love.

4) Which pick(s) do you consider your "sleeper pick"?
The Dodgers' Brandon Lewis at 9.18, and my last pick, pitcher Brandon Pfaadt of the Snakes.

4) Of all your picks, which one is the most likely to be waived first?
Hopefully they all make their rookie debuts with the Blues, but honestly, Blaine Crim is my biggest risk and concern.

5) Besides the first round, roughly (just guess) how many times did another GM choose a player you wanted RIGHT BEFORE you (one or two picks ahead)?
Three, I think. And I'm pretty sure I "yelled" at the GM in the corresponding thread. :)

6) Now that the draft is over, is there any pick you look at and think, "why didn't I wait a few more rounds on that guy?"
Crim and Shrock. Not bad considering I picked NINETEEN players!

7) Is there any player you didn't get that you'd gladly trade now to the team that got him for one of your higher picks?
Matt McLain for Reginald Periciado. I was driving when my first pick came up with a text from David alerting me. Reggie was at the top and McLain was #2 for me, but RP is young and although I'm glad I have him, had I been home to take one last look at my list before pulling the trigger, I think it's possible Reggie would have waited until my mid-round 4th pick came up. Good pick, Bulander.

8 ) Totally optional: Don’t give away your favorite sites, but do you pay for private prospects sites to aid in your pre-draft studies? Just a yes or no question, really. Elaborate at your own risk.
I don't. They always want yearly subscribers, and I really only take this level of interest in July-August each year. And there are some pretty good, in-depth analysis sites that provide mid-season rankings for free.

9) Anything else you'd like to add?
Just that I always think - every year - I drafted better than all ya'll.  And I know I'm not alone - all of us probably think that. This year's caveat is I didn't have a pick until 3.18. We shall see.

1) Which of you picks are you most excited to see develop?
Kumar Rocker. Oh wait, sorry.

I went into the 2020 draft season prepared to take Nick Bitsko with the 1.4 pick, but then of course we didn't have that draft and then somewhere along the line Bitsko had labrum surgery (which is worrisome). Anyway, I just couldn't pass on taking Bitsko at 5.4 based on where I had evaluated him previously.

2) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest "steal"?
Not sure. Maybe Matt Canterino with 3.9? They haven't been able to touch him in A ball, I'd like to see him at a higher level.

3) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest risk and/or "reach"?
Justin Foscoe at 2.4? Dan said at the time I made the pick that Foscoe wasn't even on his radar, but after doing some research perhaps he should have? So this isn't that I don't like Foscoe, but maybe I took him a round too early?

4) Which pick(s) do you consider your "sleeper pick"?
Matt says I always take a J2 guy (or two or three). But I really like Pedro Pineda (9.16) and Jackson Chourio (10.16). Guys like that are lottery tickets at that stage of the draft.

4) Of all your picks, which one is the most likely to be waived first?
None, they are all future 1st ballot Hall of Famers. All of them.

5) Besides the first round, roughly (just guess) how many times did another GM choose a player you wanted RIGHT BEFORE you (one or two picks ahead)?
I went back and looked to make sure, I couldn't find any that close. There's several that were 6-7-8 picks before me but none that close.

6) Now that the draft is over, is there any pick you look at and think, "why didn't I wait a few more rounds on that guy?"
I mentioned Foscoe earlier. Maybe Bitsko for that matter as well if people were scared off by his labrum surgery.

7) Is there any player you didn't get that you'd gladly trade now to the team that got him for one of your higher picks?
Sure. The Knights can give me a call regarding Torkelson anytime they want to. I'm available...

8 ) Totally optional: Don’t give away your favorite sites, but do you pay for private prospects sites to aid in your pre-draft studies? Just a yes or no question, really. Elaborate at your own risk.
Negative

9) Anything else you'd like to add?
I'll add to what Matt said about the Landlubbers. What a draft!
Although 40 years from now when we're still doing this and all 10 of my picks are 1st ballot HOFers we'll remember this Dogs draft as legendary.

1) Which of you picks are you most excited to see develop?
My initial answer is . . . ALL of them!  If you hadn't figured this out about me already, I'm REALLY into prospects and the minor league side of fantasy ball.  In all likelihood, I watch minor leaguers and their development more than I do the major leaguers.

However, as a Dodger fan, Ryan Ward and Eddys Leonard would have to be high on my list.  Follow those two homer picks with Carlos Colmenarez and 1st rounder Max Meyer (as Bob said, I could really use a home grown ace).

2) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest "steal"?
Probably Colmenarez in the 5th round.  I was surprised he lasted that deep into the draft.

3) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest risk and/or "reach"?
Due to his draft slot in the 4th round, Austin Hendrick.  HUGE power, but even HUGER K%.  I'd classify 9th rounder, Isaiah Greene in this category too though.  Athleticism, raw talent, needs a lot of coaching.  If he can develop the athletic talent into baseball ability, there could be a 20-20 guy lurking in there somewhere.

4) Which pick(s) do you consider your "sleeper pick"?
Eddys Leonard or Daniel Montesino.

4) Of all your picks, which one is the most likely to be waived first?
That's a tough one.  I would bet I have a longer leash than anyone, so I tend to hang on to prospects.  Sometimes too long.  I would guess one of the later round pitchers, Cole Wilcox (already had arm issues) or Xzavion Curry (pure soft tosser at this point).

5) Besides the first round, roughly (just guess) how many times did another GM choose a player you wanted RIGHT BEFORE you (one or two picks ahead)?
One or two picks ahead . . . none.  But that's probably because Jason and Matt were not ahead of my draft slots this year!  Jason did manage to take a couple players I was targeting with my next picks though in Taj Bradley and Yerry Rodriguez.

6) Now that the draft is over, is there any pick you look at and think, "why didn't I wait a few more rounds on that guy?"
No, I pretty much got who I thought I would where I thought I would.

7) Is there any player you didn't get that you'd gladly trade now to the team that got him for one of your higher picks?
I'm very happy with my draft, so probably not.  I would have, however, really liked to select one of Zac Veen, Robert Hassell or Colton Cowser who were the other names on my 1st round list.

8 ) Totally optional: Don’t give away your favorite sites, but do you pay for private prospects sites to aid in your pre-draft studies? Just a yes or no question, really. Elaborate at your own risk.
The only site I pay for is The Athletic, but as Matt mentioned, that's not for the prospect analysis (after all they employ Jim Bowden, aka The Dumbest Man in Baseball, as one of their primary prospect "analysts"...).  There are plenty of free sites that I do frequent though.

9) Anything else you'd like to add?
To answer Matt's question, I'll parrot he and Rod.  Ann Arbor made off with a haul!  Six of the first 32 selections is one way to kick start a farm rebuild!  With all my wheelings and dealings over the years and hording draft picks in trades, even I haven't had that kind of bounty early on.  That's impressive!  And seeing as he took Hassell and another of my targets, Roansy Contreras, I'd say he wins the draft . . . . That is until Rod's fantasy comes true...

1) Which of you picks are you most excited to see develop?
The obvious answer is Zac Veen, especially without a 2nd or 3rd rounder he is a clear level above the rest of the guys I picked up this year so I've gotta hope he lives up to the expectations.  I am really looking forward to watching Jose Salas and Starlin Aguilar develop.  They obviously are young and have a long way to go, but they both have the potential to make huge leaps up the rankings.

2) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest "steal"?
I think my 7th and 8th rounders, Peyton Burdick and Alec Burleson are going to end up being much better than their draft slots.

3) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest risk and/or "reach"?
Joshua Baez and Spencer Schwellenbach on the 5th and 6th rounds.  Baez definitely has the potential to more than live up to that draft position, but he's young and is also probably a high risk to bust.  I had gone a little safer on my two previous picks so I decided to take Baez and the higher risk/reward option.  For Schwellenbach, the fact that he was a Husker and that he intrigues me as a two way player, whether he continues to be or focuses on one and gets stronger, probably made me take him earlier than I needed.  Especially with the TJ surgery.

4) Which pick(s) do you consider your "sleeper pick"?

I guess I'll go with Salas and Aguilar.  My last two picks that have the potential to be huge impact players if the development goes right.

4) Of all your picks, which one is the most likely to be waived first?

This is a tough one for me, partly because I tend to have a pretty long leash with my prospects.  I keep looking at my list and I can't come up with an answer for this one.

5) Besides the first round, roughly (just guess) how many times did another GM choose a player you wanted RIGHT BEFORE you (one or two picks ahead)?
There were a few times a player was taken several picks ahead of me, but Adrian Del Castillo at pick 6.15 was right before me.  I had been considering Del Castillo for my previous two picks at 5.9 and 6.9 and was ready to take him at 6.16, but Rum Runners grabbed him right before me.

6) Now that the draft is over, is there any pick you look at and think, "why didn't I wait a few more rounds on that guy?"
Probably Schwellenbach.

7) Is there any player you didn't get that you'd gladly trade now to the team that got him for one of your higher picks?
No I don't think so.  I'm pretty happy with who I got.
8 ) Totally optional: Don’t give away your favorite sites, but do you pay for private prospects sites to aid in your pre-draft studies? Just a yes or no question, really. Elaborate at your own risk.

1) Which of you picks are you most excited to see develop?

Like others have answered, I want to watch all of my guys develop. I have the highest hopes for Oswaldo Peraza (1st round), Luis Matos and Hedbert Perez (2nd), Cristian Hernandez and Eury Perez (4th).

2) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest "steal"?

Not necessarily a steal but I was glad I traded up to get Hedbert Perez in the 2nd. Deeper in the draft I was happy to grab James Wood and Zach DeLoach in the 8th round and Angel Martinez in the 10th.

3) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest risk and/or "reach"?

I drafted a lot of low ceiling guys (Jake Meyers, Bryan De La Cruz, Tyler Gilbert, Josh Winder, Otto Lopez, Nick Plummer) this draft that may be of help soon at the MLB level. Most of the later picks (Izaac Pacheco, Cristian Santana, Dylan Smith) are really just shots in the dark you hope will develop. But they're Tigers so I have a vested interest in their development.

4) Which pick(s) do you consider your "sleeper pick"?

Hedbert Perez, James Wood and Zach DeLoach

4) Of all your picks, which one is the most likely to be waived first?

Who knows? It could be someone at the end of the draft or one of the guys already playing in the MLB or AAA that turn into a pumpkin.

5) Besides the first round, roughly (just guess) how many times did another GM choose a player you wanted RIGHT BEFORE you (one or two picks ahead)?

I don't think this happened too often to me. I had been considering taking Clarke Schmidt in round 4 but his injury risk may have kept me from pulling the trigger anyway so I'm not sure if he really qualifies as someone I lost. The fact that guys I want to draft aren't being taken from me makes me think I'm not as good a researcher as the others.

6) Now that the draft is over, is there any pick you look at and think, "why didn't I wait a few more rounds on that guy?"

Again, who knows? Probably half the guys I drafted may have gone undrafted if I hadn't taken them.

7) Is there any player you didn't get that you'd gladly trade now to the team that got him for one of your higher picks?

Considering how many picks I trade away every year, I'm satisfied with what I got.

8 ) Totally optional: Don’t give away your favorite sites, but do you pay for private prospects sites to aid in your pre-draft studies? Just a yes or no question, really. Elaborate at your own risk.

I subscribe to Baseball America and the the Athletic but, as others have mentioned, don't really use the Athletic site for draft analysis. I do use a few free sites to get a variety of opinions.

9) Anything else you'd like to add?

The draft is always a fun time of the season; second only to free agency. I think I've said before that those two events may be more fun than playing the games.

1) Which of you picks are you most excited to see develop? I went full fan this year selecting 4 different Mississippi State players so I root for them the most.
2) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest "steal"? I was thrilled Jordan Lawlar "fell" to me in the 1st, In reflection it was probably a benefit of the no draft last year. I was very suprised Yoelkis Cespedes made it as far as he did.
3) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest risk and/or "reach"? I think any HS pitcher is a risk so I'll say Maddux Bruns
4) Which pick(s) do you consider your "sleeper pick"? Deep, deep sleeper is Eric Cerantola. He was a projected late 1st going into the 2021 college season but his control was so bad he didn't make the Mississippi State CWS 25 man squad. The Royals took him in the 4th this year based on pure arm talent.
4) Of all your picks, which one is the most likely to be waived first? Jaden Hill (all injury dependant)
5) Besides the first round, roughly (just guess) how many times did another GM choose a player you wanted RIGHT BEFORE you (one or two picks ahead)? I think it happened twice
6) Now that the draft is over, is there any pick you look at and think, "why didn't I wait a few more rounds on that guy?" Several, Medina and Petty come to mind.
7) Is there any player you didn't get that you'd gladly trade now to the team that got him for one of your higher picks? Maybe, but I'm happy with my guys
8 ) Totally optional: Don’t give away your favorite sites, but do you pay for private prospects sites to aid in your pre-draft studies? Just a yes or no question, really. Elaborate at your own risk. I also that an Athletic sub, and recently got a sub to D1baseball but that's because I'm a big college baseball fan.

As the defending champions and having traded picks to try to win in 2019, this was a strange draft for the ACLs. It was painful to have only 2 picks in the first 105 selections, so while some teams mopped up with the first few rounds, I was having to play a lot of lottery tickets in this draft. So without further ado, here are the answers.

1) Which of your picks are you most excited to see develop? Any of the pitchers I selected?!?!? :) Normally I don't draft so heavily in pitchers, but the value seemed to be in selecting pitchers this season. I would say that Taj Bradley and Dax Fulton are the two that stick out here, since I think both have the ability to be solid starting pitchers in the majors, and are in organizations that should help have that happen.

2) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest "steal"? Again, isn't any pick when you don't have many high picks a steal if they work out. Plus, I'm never going to have as big of a steal as Mookie Betts with the 2nd to last pick in the draft. I like Fidel Montero and Wilkelman Gonzalez here though.

3) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest risk and/or "reach"? Peyton Battenfield. Again, drafting late made it so that I didn't feel that there were too many gambles or reaches.

4) Which pick(s) do you consider your "sleeper pick"? Yerry Rodriguez I had targeted since round 5, and I was able to get him much deeper in the draft. I don't know what he'll turn into, but I like the power arms I got in this draft. I also think Randy Vasquez might be a true sleeper. No publication had him rated highly, but his numbers are pretty ridiculous.

4) Of all your picks, which one is the most likely to be waived first? Yiddi Cappe

5) Besides the first round, roughly (just guess) how many times did another GM choose a player you wanted RIGHT BEFORE you (one or two picks ahead)? I don't want to talk about Brendt and how I think he has a camera set up in my basement.

6) Now that the draft is over, is there any pick you look at and think, "why didn't I wait a few more rounds on that guy?" Not really

7) Is there any player you didn't get that you'd gladly trade now to the team that got him for one of your higher picks? Not really

8 ) Totally optional: Don’t give away your favorite sites, but do you pay for private prospects sites to aid in your pre-draft studies? Just a yes or no question, really. Elaborate at your own risk. Like almost everyone else, I pay for The Athletic, but I don't trust Jim Bowden on anything. I do like Keith Law, but he's just one person. There are plenty of free sources out there and I use a lot of them to keep an eye on guys. We won't talk about my spreadsheet. :)

9) Anything else you'd like to add? I don't know if the skipping a year helped or hurt the ACLs. In general, this was a crapshot of a draft, as I hope a few of these guys land and do well, but I think I got some good arms and picked from good developmental organizations, so I feel good about the players (however, I am scared of how many Marlins I got).

1) Which of you picks are you most excited to see develop? I’ll start by reminding that I am not the baseball fan many of you are which lead to my team name (within the pirate theme). I use data (*sketchy this year) and various techniques to make my picks and have little emotional attachment. That said, taking a 19 year old is rare for me and having taken one at 1.11 I’ll have to say that Tyler Soderstrom is the one I want to see really develop.

2) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest "steal"? I didn’t make any picks in the “steal” rounds. I’ll say Roansy Contreras at 2.12 only because 2.12 was already my 7th pick. I feel he was ranked to low on the lists I saw so it is more a steal from those lists than from this league. But again, I’m not sure I can steal anything in the first 2 rounds.

3) Which pick(s) do you think was your biggest risk and/or "reach"? Hunter Brown is probably the biggest risk/reach. I really stretched the system to justify a D2 player that played in my alma maters conference and at a school close to where I live now. I took him at 3.11 just cause I wasn’t picking again for 6 more rounds. Real Homer pick.

4) Which pick(s) do you consider your "sleeper pick"? Actually I should have read the questions first and put Roansy Contreras here. I had no steals so we will call him a sleeper.

4)  Of all your picks, which one is the most likely to be waived first? Reid Detmers – TJ surgery and never comes back (wild guess).

5) Besides the first round, roughly (just guess) how many times did another GM choose a player you wanted RIGHT BEFORE you (one or two picks ahead)? Didn’t really happen, guys were on my short list but never really got taken, this is common in this league for some reason (probably because it has bigger baseball fans). I pretend it is because I’m taking guys from others 😊  … I commented during the draft about Kyren Paris who Koi took only cause he was on a very short list for my 5th round pick but then I traded it away. He almost made it to the 9th so I had just started to believe I would get him anyway.

6) Now that the draft is over, is there any pick you look at and think, "why didn't I wait a few more rounds on that guy?" No, I really didn’t have that option, very unique draft

7) Is there any player you didn't get that you'd gladly trade now to the team that got him for one of your higher picks? No

8) Totally optional: Don’t give away your favorite sites, but do you pay for private prospects sites to aid in your pre-draft studies? Yes but under $10/yr and not specifically for this league.

9) I loved the idea of saying who else’s draft you liked best but unfortunately, I couldn’t pay close attention this year. This was fun though, could be interesting to come back to
