GAME HIGHLIGHTS
Walla Walla @ Grants Pass
Grants Pass keeps winning, extending their win streak to five games with a walk off 2-1 victory. Pinch hitter Josh Lowe delivers the game winning single after Matt Chapman had tied the game with a sacrifice fly in the eighth.
Great @ Scurvy
A back and forth affair in Scurvy goes into extras. A ghost runner and two walks in the top of the tenth loads the bases for the Auk. Lars Nootbaar steps up and hammers an 0-1 pitch into the left center bleachers for a game winning grand slam, earning the visitors a 10-7 victory and a split in the series.
Everest @ Bako
Alex Cobb goes toe to toe with Gerrit Cole for six innings, both starters leaving with the game tied 1-1. The bullpens take over and that is when things unravel for Everest. Bako scores five off two Yeti relievers and Ryan Thompson and Devin Williams lock the game down from there for Bako. The Bums 6-2 win puts them in a tie for first in the Frick.
Lakeview @ Hawaiian Gardens
Newly promoted Ben Lively pitches six strong innings, giving up just a single run. The game still goes into extra innings though, where Ian Happ delivers the walk off win with an RBI single in the bottom of the 10th.
Chicago @ Brooklyn
Brooklyn walks off Chicago in extras, 6-5, taking sole possession of the top spot in the KML. A chaotic bottom of the 10th that sees a hit batsman, a run scoring error, and a double steal culminates in Lourdes Gurriel's game winning single.
Santa Ana @ Ann Arbor
Santa Ana scores two in each of the first three innings to take a 6-0 lead. The Landlubbers chip away in the middle innings before rallying for four runs in the 7th to snatch an 8-6 victory from the Wolves. Kyle Farmer delivers the big blow with a game winning three run homer.
