40 man with players out for season

Future Rule Change Thought.

I know this isn't really the time, as we just try to figure out how the heck to make a season work (with the Ownership/Commish dummies and Players Union buffoons doing their best to kill baseball) but I wanted to get it down here while it's fresh on my mind again.

I wondered if we might allow players out for a season to be "DL'd". In other words, a way to not have them count against the 40 man roster. In real life a player would be placed on the 60 day DL and it wouldn't eat a roster space. It seems like this would make sense for us as well.

When the time is right, I'd love for the commissioner team to discuss and potentially implement if they think it's fair.
