SERIES HIGHLIGHTS

ACL's @ Brewers
Brewers take the first two games of the series to run their WIN STREAK TO TEN GAMES before Ankeny puts an emphatic end to that streak with a 12-4 whooping in game three.  The 10-1 run nonetheless has pulled Grants Pass back into a tie with the Diseased ones, five games back in the Frick.

Rum Runners @ Thunder
Maybe the rumors of their demise were a little premature; Tucson has come back from near .500 get right back into the hunt in the Frick.  Two of three at home versus the Runners helps the cause.  Chicago on the other hand is going the wrong way.  A 4-2 win in the final game ended a losing streak, but the Rummers have lost their hold on the top spot in the KML with their current skid.

Rattlers @ Miners
Miners drop game one before taking the final two games to win the series at home.  A walk off Jeremy Pena single in the bottom of the tenth in game three secures the series.

Hammers @ Bums
Hawaiian Gardens wins the rubber match of their series in Bako to drop the Bums into a tie with Great for the lead in the Frick.  Framber Valdez threw pitches just about everywhere BUT in the strike zone, giving Hammer hitters seven free passes to first base and just for good measure throwing a ball into the first row on a pick off attempt in the third because he felt bad for Anthony Santander having to actually swing the bat for a single to earn HIS way to first.  "Framber just didn't have his best stuff tonight," was all the Bako manager could say afterward.  Understatement of the season...

Kraken @ Dogs
Brooklyn takes two of three in Scurvy, holding their playoff spot even as surging Ann Arbor catches them in the standings.  Scurvy remains tied with the masters-of-the-one-run-victory Brewers for the third and fourth spots in the Frick playoff race.

Robots @ Sweets
Cole Irvin starts a four hit shutout for Walla Walla, earning the Sweets the 3-0 win in the opening game.  Roxbury comes back to tie the series with an 8-6 win in game two to set up a Tyler Anderson vs. Dylan Cease matchup in the rubber match.  Anderson gets the better of the duel, completing seven innings while surrendering just two runs.  The Robots take the series win with a 7-2 win.

Rougarou @ Argonauts
"Remember 2023!" is the rallying cry in Lakeview.  The defending champs have had a very rough go of it this season, highlighted by their current 10 game streak in the wrong direction.  Mother Lode accepts appreciatively to claw back to .500 in their attempt to rescue a frustrating year.

Landlubbers @ Yetis
Everest wins two of three to climb back to .500 as well.  The Yetis fight for the sweep but are undone by three, two-run homers by Ann Arbor's Alejandro Kirk (highlighting his 5-5 day), Austin Riley, and JD Martinez in the sixth inning of the final game.

Sea Wolves @ Koi
Arizona's Alec Burleson's three run blast in the eighth sends the Koi to the game one victory.  Santa Ana rebounds to win the series though, moving back to the top of the KML ahead of Chicago.

Madmen @ Auk
I will Venmo/Zelle/hand deliver $3.46 to anyone who can cool off Great.  Since the beginning of June, the Flightless One's are a league best 44-15.  Their current FIVE GAME WIN STREAK has once again raised them in to a tie with Bako.

C'mon folks . . . the blasted birds are EXTINCT for heavens sake...
