ACL's @ Robots
Robots win game one at home, 7-3, before suffering a 12-0 blowout loss in game two.
Thunder @ Miners
Thunder take a 2-1 pitchers duel in game one. Trailing 4-1 entering the 8th in game two, Tucson rallies for six runs in the inning to go up 7-4. Phoenix comes right back with five runs in the bottom of the inning and tie up the series with the 9-7 victory.
Kraken @ Rum Runners
Chicago starts off on the right foot with a 13 inning 5-4 win in game one. Game two turns in to a pitchers duel that Brooklyn pulls out thanks to Lourdes Gurriel's game winning RBI triple in the sixth.
Hammers @ Rougarou
Lakeview shuts out Hawaiian Gardens on two hits in game one, 4-0. The Hammers decide to use the correct end of the bat in game two, ripping off 15 hits and plating 14 runs in a 14-4 thrashing of the Rougarou.
Brewers @ Sweets
In his Grants Pass debut, Zack Wheeler pitches well enough to win, but Jameson Taillon is up the challenge and holds the Brewers to one run over eight excellent innings, sending the home team to the 5-1 victory. Late season call up, Matt Strahm, continues his incredible run in the Brewers rotation, shutting out Walla Walla for five innings as GP evens the series with a 6-2 win in game two.
Argonauts @ Koi
Arizona wins game one, 6-4, before dropping game two to Joe Ryan and the Argos, 7-0. Ryan runs his record to 14-5 on the season.
Dogs @ Auk
Scurvy isn't done quite yet. The Dogs staff holds the Auk's highly potent offense to just nine hits and two runs in taking the first two games of the series, 5-1 and 4-1. They will go for the sweep tomorrow with Sonny Gray on the hill facing off against Brandon Woodruff.
Madmen @ Rattlers
Windy City plates six runs the seventh inning of game one for the come from behind 7-5 win. There is no big inning late in game two; a game Motor City takes, 5-2, to even the series.
Landlubbers @ Sea Wolves
Ann Arbor rallies late for the 7-5 game one win. The Landlubbers take a big 10-5 lead in game two before Santa Ana rallies late to send the game into extra innings. A run scoring double and an RBI single in the top of the tenth gives Ann Arbor a game two, 12-10 win, setting them up for a possible sweep of the KML front running Wolves tomorrow.
Bums @ Yetis
Everest is rather rude hosts, downing Bako twice by 10-5 and 7-5 scores. The Yetis will have to solve Gerrit Cole tomorrow however, if they wish to pull off the series sweep.
