Round 2

Hello Gents!

1) Which team will be on top in both leagues at the end of May? (1 point each, ties count)

2) In the "interesting stat" department, the Miners (0-5), Rougarou (0-9), and ACLs (0-8) have yet to win a game against a lefty starter. By the end of May...
a) ... all 3 will have at least one win. (1 point)
b) ... they'll ALL still be winless. (5 points)
c) ... only the Miners will get at least one win. (3 points)
d) ... only the Rougarou will get at least one win. (3 points)
e) ... only the ACLs will get at least one win. (3 points)
f) ... 2 out of the three will get at least one win. (2 points)

3) The Rum Runners are UNDEFEATED so far at home! 12-0. How many losses will they suffer at home in May? You might wanna check the schedule for this one. Nail it = 4 points. One off = 2 points.

4) The Madmen are the only undefeated team in one-run games (5-0)! How many one-run games will they lose in May? Nail it = 4 points. One off = 2 points.

5) The Great Auk are off to an auk-ward start. They have the worst offense (measured by runs scored) but the 2nd-best pitching (just one run more than the Kraken), BUT they're tied for 1st in the Frick. Read this question carefully: Will they remain atop the Frick while still sporting the worst offense come the end of May? Yes = 4 points. No = 1 point.

6) The Kraken have a +58 run differential. Just 24 games into a 152-game season, they're on pace for a +367 season, which might be an MSB record (I'd have to check into that crazy season of ownage by Jason's ACLs a few years back). Question: What will the Kraken total run differential be come the end of May? Nail it = 5 points, within 5 = 2 points.

7) As impressive as the Kraken's positive run differential is, the ACLs negative run differential is even greater! They're at -67. Fun question to round out this batch of GIG predictions: Will the Kraken's positive run differential be higher than the ACL's negative run differential (on the other side of the 0)? Example: The Kraken has a +100 while the ACL's have a -99. Answer would be Yes. If the Kraken end May at +85 and the ACL's are at -90, the answer would be NO.
Yes = 4 points, No = 2 points.

Good luck!

Guys, I miscalculated the points for #7. Everyone who guessed “no” gets another point added to their score. I’ll make the change on the spreadsheet.

Thanks to Dan for catching the error.
