That is a STEAL for Bogaerts!  I only wish I had the spot and the budget to be in on him.  Especially with the HTD...

Great pick up Dan.

Could not agree more.  Cannot believe he went for only $7mn.

I fumbled this one. After my volley with David I saw Rod and Dan come in and didn't think it would just stop there so I focused on something else and didn't come back. I have the money and the spot so my apologies to anyone in Dan's division .... crap, that's me.

Not sure I'm ready to move out of the rebuild phase yet but you have to bite the bullet at some point. I kept going back and forth between Bogaerts and Adames but as Adames cost kept going up and switched back to Bogaerts. After I committed to go for Bogaerts I added Bryan Reynolds to the target list. Not sure I'll be playoff bound but should be more competitive than I was last year. Now I wish I hadn't taken on some salaries. Maybe I'll be looking to dump salary now.

I still plan on beating you so I would suggest taking on more bad contracts and maybe selling other assets. Complete rebuild

Ironically, I signed Bogaerts three years ago in the same position you are. He was my first big ticket, center of the lineup signing as I rose to contention. He served me well with two 100+ win, division/conference titles and a WS appearance. Hopefully that portends well for you now.

And hopefully now that he’s no longer on your team the Bums are relegated back to obscurity.
