All-Star Game GIG!

Welcome to the very first GIG involving the MSB All Star Game! It's the Ford Frick League vs. the Kennesaw Mountain Landis League. The KML will host the game, by way of their own Lakeview Rougarou winning the MSB World Series Championship. Unless otherwise stated, all correct answers are worth 2 points.

1) Who will win the game (Frick or KML)? FRICK

2) I'll set the Over-Under on total runs scored based on a rather classic runs-per-game stat for MSB teams down through the years: 4.5. So that'd be 9 runs scored by both teams. Seeing as how offense is trending down and pitching is trending up, let's set the over-under number at 8.5. Are you "over" or "under"? UNDER

3) Take the over/under on 4.5 runs for the Frick. OVER

4) Take the over/under on 4.5 runs for the KML. UNDER

(NOTE: Some of you may be thinking questions 3 and 4 are redundant due to question 1. Not so. Both teams could still be over or under on runs scored. So be sure not to contradict yourself when answering questions 1 thru 4.)

5) Take the over/under on 2.5 total Home Runs in the game. OVER

(NOTE: Questions 5 thru 9 regard players who are sure to make the team(s) based on what I'm seeing in the voting. And while with question 9 I could have gone with Cole - the likely Frick lead vote getter and therefore the game starter - I'm certain Strider will get in, and he's miles ahead of Cole in K's, which is the subject of the question.)

6) True or False: The KML's Ronald Acuna will get a hit. NO

7) True or False: The Frick's Aaron Judge will strike out. NO

8 ) True or False: MSB RBI leader Jake Burger (58, KML), will get an RBI. NO

9) True or False: MSB strikeout leader Spencer Strider (144, Frick) will K 2+ in the game. YES

10) Choose only THREE of the following ten possibilities to happen in the game. 2 points for each correct answer. And if you're right on all three, you'll get a bonus of 4 points, making question 10 worth a total of 10 points! Choose your 3 wisely! A sample answer is simply this: "A, G, J"
