Ankeny wins the series, but Phoenix avoids the sweep with an 8-6 win in game three.  Spencer Torkelson hammers his 14th home run and drives in four for the Miners.

Landlubbers @ Thunder

Landlubbers 10, Thunder 4
Ann Arbor takes the last two to win the series in Tucson.  Game three would have been a lot closer were it not for three Thunder errors leading to three unearned runs and Rodrigo Lopez' 8th inning blowup.

Rum Runners @ Koi

Rum Runners 14, Koi 1
Runners sweep with a convincing game three win.  The middle of the order of McCormick, Schwarber, Hays and Morel go 14-21 with 12 runs and all 14 RBI.  McMormick, Schwarber and Morel homer, and Hays connects on a pair of shots.

Hawaiian Gardens takes the rubber match, Ian Happ hitting three solo homers to lead the way.

Argos sweep at home.  Game three goes into extras and is won on Brandon Lowe's walk off single in the 11th.

Rattlers @ Dogs

A four run tenth is Scurvy's undoing as they go for the home sweep.  Windy City leadoff man, CJ Abrams collects four hits including a home run and a two run insurance single in the tenth.

Sea Wolves @ Bums

Bums 7, Sea Wolves 3
Bako avoids the home sweep, but drops the series between the two conference leaders.  The game three loss drops Santa Ana into a tie atop the KML with the resurgent Runners.

Rougarou @ Auk

Great completes the home sweep, inching within two games of the Frick leading Bums.  Michael Conforto homers twice and drives in five.

Robots @ Yetis

Yetis 7, Robots 5
Everest finishes off the sweep behind their big guns, Freddie Freeman and Aaron Judge.  Freeman doubles twice and drives in three and Judge doubles and homers and drives in a pair.

Madmen @ Brewers
Brewers 4, Madmen 0
Brewers 6, Madman 3
Grants Pass wins their fourth in a row and completes the home sweep.  Yu Darvish has uncharacteristically struggled this season, but he pitches seven brilliant innings in game three, striking out 12 and allowing just 3 hits and 1 run his best start of the season.

Nice timing on those lineup adjustments. Going back to what Chicago started with to open the season.
