Brewers and Thunder deal

Lots of moving parts in this one, but Frick rivals the Brewers and Thunder have struck (see what I did there?) a deal.  Here's the layout:

Brewers send:
Luis Severino (2024, $1.5M) - I’ll receive him at full value.
Anthony Rendon (2024, $2M) - $500K prorated
Luis Garcia (2024, $3.25M) - $813K prorated
Bryan De la Cruz (2025, $500K, R) - $250K prorated
Will Vest (2025, $250K) - $250K prorated
(Total of $3.313M coming from the above Brewers players)
Brewers 2025 Picks #3 and #6

For

Zack Wheeler (2024/$12.5M) - $3.125M prorated
Thunder 2025 pick #9

CO, please double check our numbers. We're kinda sure we're in compliance and understand the proration rules, but we just want to be sure.

Edit: Great working with you Brandon. Glad we got those numbers worked out, and good luck to you for 2024!

Brewers confirm.

In for a penny in for a pound, hopefully Wheeler can team up with real life teammate Harper to bring a championship to GP.

Good working with you on all the back and forth to make the money work. Good luck with the rebuild. Maybe give us one year to not worry about the Thunder.

So, recognizing that maybe this rule doesn't make sense since you can just structure a portion of your trade separately, but we do have a rule that states, "Pro-rating must be applied to all players involved in the trade subject to the minimum contract level of $250K per year."  So we can't include Severino as a non-pro-rated player if the rest are pro-rated.  Can you guys modify things just a little bit?

Absolutely. We’ll get it via email together and resubmit.
