Dogs 12, Miners 2
Gavin Williams pitches six strong innings and the offense needs only 10 hits to score their dozen runs.  Four homers and an eight run fifth inning help the efficiency.  Scurvy does its job in forcing the playoff game.

Great 2, Brewers 0
Rookie Mason Miller and four relievers shutout Grants Pass on six hits.  Ozzie Albies provides the offense with his 44th homer, a two run shot in the sixth to send Great to the victory.

Scurvy and Great are headed to a one game playoff to decide the 1st wild card slot and HFA in the first round of the playoffs.

Rum Runners 10, ACLs 4
Chicago stakes Ankeny to t 3-0 lead in the first but then chips away in the third, takes the lead in the fifth and again in the seventh, and puts the game on ice with a four run ninth.  The Runners fifth straight victory forces Santa Ana to win in the race for the KML crown.

Sea Wolves 7, Hammers 2
Santa Ana gets off the mat to score the conference clinching win.  A five run fifth inning, highlighted by Max Muncy's three run blast, and six bend-but-don't-break innings from Nick Martinez lead the Wolves to the win.

Congratulations to Santa Ana and GM Mike Loar on their third straight division/conference championship.

Landlubbers 8, Robots 4
Ann Arbor wins its SIXTH STRAIGHT GAME to do their part in their race for the 2nd wild card slot.  The Landlubbers take a 3-0 lead and then put the game away with five runs in the middle innings.  The win forces Brooklyn's hand...

Kraken 5, Rattlers 2
Brooklyn makes the home crowd sweat.  Trailing 2-1 entering the bottom of the eighth, the Kraken offense finally gets into gear and mounts a four run rally to take the lead, scoring the win and claiming the 2nd wild card spot in the KML.

Ugggh     So what is the schedule for the one game playoff ?   Off day and then one game playoff followed by another off day before the best of seven conference semi-final  ???      Or no off days.

Congrats to the two division winners.   They each have a steak going.   Atlanta Braves in the 90's and 00's watch out.  Didn't they win like 12 straight or so.

Thanks for the recaps Brendt. I follow my own game boxscores on almost a daily basis but don't pay attention as closely to other games. These recaps are a nice way to stay up to date with the league.

Starts Oct 8th
I’ll be creating a schedule for the postseason once this seeding game is completed.

If we’re going to have the postseason completed by the end of November we’re going to need to have short breaks between the games however.
