Well this makes tomorrow really interesting... Gonna keep it short today; just got home and have sick kids.

Kraken 4 @ Rum Runners 1 (Series tied 3-3)

Acquiring Aaron Nola from the Miners pays off as he largely shuts down the Rum Runners for 7 innings of 4 hit ball.

Auk 0 @ Dogs 4 (Series tied 3-3)

No ninth inning heroics in this one as the Dogs get off to a quick first inning 2 run lead which is all that was needed. Unfortunately for the Auk, their pick-up of Scherzer from the Miners does not pay off as he gets pulled after only 4 2/3 innings.

Landlubbers 0 @ Sea Wolves 5 (Series tied 3-3)

Landlubbers can't get anything going with only 3 hits and no walks in this one. Sea Wolves pitchers were very efficient. 103 pitches total with 76 for strike (74%); compared to 133 for Landlubbers with only 78 for strike (59%).

Brewers 9 @ Bums 4 (Series tied 3-3)

Nothing fancy here as the Brewers decide that their strategy of keeping it close makes no sense when you can score 9 on the normally formidable Bums pitching. Most of the team was hot tonight with a particular shout-out going to Rooker (3 for 5 with 3 runs and a HR).

Four game sevens ? I think the TV/cable networks are rigging the games to maximize broadcast revenue and profits.

I knew Schzerer would not get it done in game 6. I was hoping Verlander would clinch it in game 5 but not the case. Drop Dead Fred Peralta going in game 7 for the Auk. Kirby going for the Dogs. Hang onto your hernia belts here folks. All four match-ups going the distance.

The Auk hitting has gone extinct so far this series. Of the 8 teams in the playoffs my flightless waterfoul are last in batting average, 4th in OBP and last in Slugging percentage. This is after being second or third in offense in the regular season. The Wolves so far in these six games have kept up the offense. They are first in runs scored with 30 and first in HRs with 12. Dogs second with 11. I recall the Wolves were the top offensive team in the regular season with the Dogs and my Auk 2nd or 3rd in the various measures.
