Anybody wanna take a flyer on Manoah (2025/rookie/ISO this year at $500k) before I waive him for a Round 7 better option? He has 24 innings with decent starter stats (5 starts, likely). He'll be owed no more than $1.5-2M IF you decide to keep him but still *might* qualify for the ISR because he's not expected back until August.
I was very excited to get him at #16 overall in the draft 4 or 5 years ago, and he didn't disappoint in his rookie and sophomore seasons. But if you've followed, he tanked in '23, then showed signs he may have turned things around in '24, then boom, TJ surgery keeping him out till August.
Anyway, I'm gonna waive him by the time my 2nd turn comes up in R7, I'm almost certain. Just a heads up. I'd take a R7 turn, or a late-ish MiL pick, like a 7th or 8th rounder.
